Prior to joining Sundance SalonSpa, Carla was a Communications Director for more than 10 years. Simply by being true to her lifestyle and respect for the Earth, she joined the Fredric's AVEDA network. In 2001, Carla started as an AVEDA Advisor for an AVEDA Experience Center, garnering her greatest achievement in this position as number one in retail sales for 2002.

In 2003, Carla was promoted to the position of Territory Business Manager where she inspired others by connecting and sharing AVEDA education for their personal and professional growth. Also, in the summer of 2003, Carla had the opportunity to be part of the "behind the scene" activities for the highly anticipated and successful presentation of the Fredric's AVEDA Mid-America event. In the Fall of 2003, she attended advanced business training at the  AVEDA Institute in Minneapolis, MN.

Carla is certified to teach AVEDA network employees Experience AVEDA Orientation and product knowledge classes in Hair Care, Skin Care, Nail Treatments, Aromatherapy, Elemental Nature, Plant Wax and Personal Blends. Her focus to connect with others who are seeking a new ideal of beauty and balance in mind-body-spirit wellness, through an holistic approach, makes her a natural fit for Sundance SalonSpa.
